About me
I am an Educator, Corporate Communicator, Entertainment coach, Author, Public Relations Officer, Youtuber, Blogger, Entrepreneur and Digital Media Specialist.
I have a Bachelors degree in Corporate Communication and a Masters degree in Digital Media.
Josy Anne is an Entertainment Coach and Media Personality with over seven years of experience in the entertainment industry. Her career began at TheShadeBorough, the UK’s leading entertainment platform for Black culture, before launching Afriblinksblog, a digital platform dedicated to amplifying African entertainment and talent.
She has worked extensively with African celebrities, conducting high-profile interviews that bridge the gap between artists and their fans. Featured interviews include IK Ogbonna (Nigerian actor), Brenda Biya (daughter of Cameroon’s president), Magixx (Mavin Records), Boi Chase, Guchi, and Michael Bassey (former Big Brother Africa contestant), among others.
Beyond media, Josy Anne has built a strong reputation in Public Relations, representing both established and emerging talent. She previously served as PR Officer at Neville Records (founded by Sydney Talker), where she managed communications for rising star Khaid, and has also represented prominent African artists such as Kameni and Ko-C.
She is also the host of The Wahala Podcast, recognized as one of the biggest and most dynamic entertainment podcasts, featuring bold conversations with influential voices across music, film, and pop culture.
Being in the entertainment industry has given me so much knowledge which I’ll love to share with you guys. Congratulations, taking this big step to come work on yourself is courage itself. I have worked as a sales person and an optician so I got to interact with different people which made me understand their needs. I’ve assisted so many fast rising artistes on social media likewise in real life. As a blogger & PR person, I see the day to day challenges of entertainers and with my good coaching skills, I felt I could help them. I followed lots of coaches in all fields for about 6 years now. I am naturally gifted in giving people right orientation and advice.
